Skipbo
As a child, I grew up playing Skipbo with my Grandma Cox. I miss her so much. We would play for hours. It’s a great to include the junior high age kids into the mix.

Mexican Train Dominoes
I cannot tell you how many nights my family stayed up and played passed midnight, listening to music, having some wine. We especially love to play during the holidays.

Guesstures Charades
For about years, this was the game we played after dinner every Christmas Eve. It allows you to use props, so we’d be running all over the house as fast as we could. If you have a fun group that loves to laugh and doesn’t mind getting a little competitive, you need this game.
Trust me.

Cox Family - Games for Goodies
Upside Down Cup Game
Place the cups on the table. My recommendation is to give each player a minimum of five picks. For example, if you have five players, you’ll need 25 cups. I’d also suggest letting younger children play their own game and older kids play separately, especially if you have a mix of little kids and older kids. Ideas for what to place inside the cups: For younger kids, think $1 bills, snack packs, candy, stickers, bubbles, playdoh or other fun little prizes.
When you reset the game for the older kids, consider $5, $10, and $20 bills, plus $5 and $10 gift cards to Amazon, fast-food restaurants, coffee shops, and/or assorted stocking stuffers.
To determine picking order, everyone playing gets to rolls two dice. The player with the highest total goes first. Roll again to determine second place, then again for third place, and so on. Players who already have a position selected do not keep rolling only players waiting for a position roll the dice. Once the order is set, each player chooses a cup in turn and reveals their winnings.

Cox Family - Olympics
Cup Carry
Divide everyone into two teams: the Red Team and the Green Team. Each player must blow up a balloon inside a Solo cup, then use the balloon to hold the cup while carrying it across the room using only their mouth. The player must place the cup on the table before the next teammate can begin.
If you drop the cup, you have to return to the starting table and begin again. Players continue one at a time until every member of one team has successfully completed the challenge.
Who will finish first—the Red Team or the Green Team?

Reindeer Games
$23.99
A player from the Red Team and a player from the Green Team face off. The first player to successfully hook the reindeer steps aside, and the next player from their team moves in. The game continues this way until every player on one team has successfully hooked the reindeer.
Which team will finish first—Red or Green?
The winning team of the Cox Family Olympics would receive scratch off lotto tickets or simply bragging rights.

Host a Blind Wine Tasting
$19.99
Either provide the wines yourself or get your guests involved and ask everyone to bring a bottle. We recommend choosing one specific style of wine for the tasting—Pinot Noir, red blends, sparkling wine, Chardonnay, or whatever sounds fun. Open all of the bottles and remove any identifying foil, labels, or markings around the tops of the bottles. Ideally, have someone who is not participating place each bottle into a bag so the tasting can be truly blind. Start with Bottle 1. Everyone tastes, discusses, and makes notes. Continue through each bottle in order. Once everyone has tasted all of the wines, have each person reveal their favorite before uncovering the bottles. This gets especially fun when the wines are at very different price points. Put a $10 bottle up against a much more expensive bottle and see what happens.
You may be surprised by the winner.
